Urrrgh... What a week

luckykaaWhen did I develop a work ethic? Must have been when I actually started enjoying work... Still, been hectic this week. Major milestone for game_based_on_classic_80's_movie 2. Been working late and eating takeaway all week. I'm now going to sleep for a week. I also failed to watch Die another Day. Review within.
Intrepidly entering the cinema - The here of the piece (me) heroically calls his friends. They arrive a short time later. Not the best pre-credits teaser, but it sets the scene. They joined me, and we queued for tickets. We laughed at the useful notices saying that performances for the previous days showing had sold out. And we joined the queue that only had a couple fo people there.
So, after spending about 10 minutes in the queue, we realised that it wasn't moving. I joined the other queue, and was told the tickets were sold out. Thanks guys..... Meanwhile, the people in front of us still hadn't sorted out their tickets. I still can't work out quite what the problem was. They wanted a refund or something. It took two people to be unable to do this.
We gave up, and ate at Wetherspods. The service was friendly, the beer was cheap, and the food was edible but a bit cold. And they got Alexis's order wrong.
Overall, the beginning of the story could do with a lot more action, and the comic relief was a bit too heavy on the puns. The sequel is coming out today. Rumour has it that this may involve a film.
