So this contracting thing

First contract cancelled (after offering me lower than advertised rate in the first place)

Found another promising contract.  Called up.  They're offering less now...  Third potential, no response.  Called to chase up...  Person who deals with that stuff is out. 

Is this really how contracting goes?  It kinda sucks.

Yes and no ... Its a rough market at the moment but picking up.
