So, that touch screen job...  They offered it to me.  Really good daily rate.  Almost immediate start.  So spent today and yesterday learning about the devkit.

Agent for Lionhead called me.  I felt a little guilty about turning them down.  They didn't really know a lot obout the computer vision systems, but it is good technology and I'd love to see them succeed.  Thing is, I don't want a permanent job in Guildford.  I guess I could have argued for a contract.  Still, the opportunity to get out of games is appealing.  I can't help feeling that I got them all excited by my awesomeness (and I do know this stuff pretty well), and then let them down and now they're crying.

Hope I can cope with the daily commute.  This will result in some pretty long hours away from home.  Will have to take full advantage of the journey to get useful stuff done.

It is only 2 months.  Should be able to cope.  Think I'll need a holiday when I'm done though.

Lionhead are not your responsibility :)
