I was at just over 10k words...  Then OpenOffice crashed, and inexplicably wiped the last 2700.

Commiserations.. I lost a couple of K last year to an incident involving an SD card wipe. In hind sight I think it made the redo of those words a better version, but it did make the 50k a close run thing.

If it's any consolation, I'm thinking of restarting so that's a self inflicted word wipe :S
