More work stuff

Responded to text.  Said I will work for next 5 weeks from Weds 24th.  No response confirming things yet. 

Had interview with Rockstar.  I have no idea how well it went.  I was confident and positive though.  The tiredness and apathy I'm suffering from was successfully buried under a positive exterior. 

Happy thought for today:
Up is still on at the cinema.  Even have a movie watching buddy:)

Also managed to break social wall on train home...  Take that shyness!!!

And those who aren't on fb, seeking mp3 player recommendations.  Sansa Fuze keeps resetting and (a) spending ages resyncing music, and (b) losing its place on an audiobook.  Also slightly annoying that it doesn't use a standard USB-B connector.  Any recommendations for a replacement?  Must work with audible.

Just get an ipod and stop being so square!, they do what they're meant to do brilliantly and anyone who says they don't probably has two albums to their name, called their teacher "Mum" and thinks anyone without autism is a yob.

I've a Creative Zen 4GB, has a standard USB connecting cable, good battery life, recharges through USB cable, has bookmark functionality, playlist creation and mid track resume on power off.
The SD card slot is best ignored as it has no bookmarking, playlisting or resume functionality.

My foaming isn't nearly as ardent as the closed-purse defiance of the incessant tweaker. Some things just arrive perfect; like my husband Russell or a fresh Battenberg. No soldering required.

I've never encountered a Battenberg that requires soldering.
And as for the soldering requirements or lack thereof for your delivered perfect husband Russell I couldn't possibly comment.

I may dissect and then refashion a Battenberg over the weekend to see how it fares without its classic alternating sponge brick design. They say apricot jam does the job but personally I thinks that rubbish so I've lined up the lava pistol just in case. Will post pictures when I'm finished.

I'm intrigued as Battenberg re-engineering is not something I've come across before. I look forward to seeing the pics of your handy work.
