The return of the IDP camp
May. 7th, 2010 09:33 amSo, another IDP camp, inconsiderately falling on the same day as election day. Dashed up to the polling station on the way up. second person to vote. There Was A Queue!!!! Never seen that before.
So, I threw away my vote on some obscure environmentalist party, who don't have a hope of getting a seat. Honestly I do get a bit of a Buzz that we have the Green's first ever MP.
So, set off to Northamptonshire. Drove up the other way round the road because we were heading to Cambridge to pick up another IDP. Traffic was great. Only problem was "long queues" on the M25, which delayed us by a total of about 8 minutes. Sadly not all was good. Car started going clatter. Clatter got worse by the time we arrived, so called the AA, he towed the car to the garage and I need to get back to Bedford. Luckily managed to get a lift back to Woking with masterofapath and get collected from there by my lovely parents.
So that means I'm going to be spending a lot of today travelling.
