Am back in Brighton for a week as I remove everything from my rented house into storage, and clean the place.

I need to move everything out before I clean.
I need somewhere to sleep which makes this a problem.  Shall be staying with my parents, I think.
Apparently my carpet needs to be professionally cleaned.  Cleaning it myself is not an option.  They also want the curtains to be professionally cleaned, but seriously - it's not like they're particularly good curtains.
I have a washing machine and a bed to move.

I was planning to hire a van, but I left my driving licence in Brussels. Slightly annoyed with myself over that.  However, man with van may be easier.

I want to go to Maelstrom event 4.  This has its own logistical issues.  I need to find someone with spare capacity to get a tent and a sleeping bag.

I also need to do some goodbye drinkies.  I need a nice pub that's not too crowded on a Friday night.

Enterprise won't mind calling the DVLA to check your licence so you don't actually need to produce it for them :)

Just put the curtains through the wash and clean the carpets yourself. They won't know the difference and they are being unreasonable to ask you to do this. Dirty carpets and curtains (unless you are a smoker or have pets) are 'reasonable wear and tear'.
