So, following from previous entry, it turned out that I don't have the Norway offer after all.

Also Amsterdam is actually only nominally 3 months, although I imagine that will be extended.

Not getting the Norway one was upsetting. It's not just that the work seemed more interesting. It's also that it was the more scary option for an unadventurous little luckykaa. I'd manage to get past the fear and was excited about it, so when I was told they didn't have the budget for me, the whole thing was a bit of a let down. Amsterdam seems unexciting now.

I guess I'll enjoy it. If I don't, I don't have to be there for long. If I do, my Man With a Van Who Can can shift all my stuff there for a non trivial but affordable fee of £740. Or I hire a van myself if I'm feeling masochistic.

Incidentally - anyone want to buy a washing machine? It's just sitting gathering dust right now.

Amsterdam has great cafes, dedicated bike lanes, many art galleries and [ahem] coffee shops [GG].

Shame about Norway. But yay for easy choice.

Also Amsterdam is easier for visiting purposes ;)
