Timetable said it was a crazy cruise ship day today so decided to put off Old Town exploration and hang out in the area around the hotel. Since it has fantsatic beaches, resturants, cafes, and forzen yoghurt seling places, selling frozen yoghurt, plus a nice footpath above the cliffs around the harbour, there's plenty to do.
So we went swimming. Tried to make it to the floating fort but a man blew a whistle at us. It looks like you need to pay to use it. Splashed arounda bit more, and saw some fish. lazed on the beach, and walked along the harbour path, admiring the view and trying to work out which hotel was ours. Reached a cafe at the end of the path, which meant we had to stop for a drink, and admire the view. Then ambled back abnd reached a nice looking restaurant which we had to stop in for food.
Came back. Chilled out at the hotel because I wanted some me time. Went out for dinner. Wanted to sit on the swings but the restaurant wouldn't let us if we were eatuing, which was a shame. Food was nice but not as good as the day before and the service was a bit grumpy, so we went somewhere else for pancakes.
Then I realised I'd forgotten my bag. Ooops. Previous restaurant seemed bemused when asked about it but someone ekse there had left it on a table. So crisis was quickly averted. Spent the evening sitting on the balcony drinking white wine and chattng.
This was another fin day,
