Cable Cars, City Walls and The Quest For Air Conditioning

So there's this girl I really like. She kinda followed me to Dubrovnik...

Started off relaxing in the jacuzzi because flickums's feet hurt.  Then we went back to town, to try the Cable Car. Felt hotter today. And the top of the hill wasn't much cooler. 400m or so clearly isn't enough to make a difference. Fatastic views of Dubrovnik though. Was hoping to be able to see across the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina but there was a huge cable car station in the way. There was a nice air conditioned restaurant though where we had drinks and cooled off.

Then went to a pizza place, where they had air conditioning. And had the hugest pizza type thing ever (Not quite a pizza. It was folded over and covered in sauce). Then went down to town, and saw the aquarium. It was a little aquarium with a big turtle and lots of other fish. One octopus. A few seahorses. Nice and cool away from the relentless sun.

Next stop was the city walls, because I like city walls. Didn't walk all the way around because it was so damn hot! Fortunately there was an exceedingly expensive cafe halfway round, once again with aircon. I decided to chicken out when we realised there was another huge climb on the other side of the walls.

It was fun but hard work inthe heat. And the walls required a lot of climbing!

Returned to the hotel. Went back to the Jacuzzi. Went out to eat at the place where we previously had had pancakes, where we were serenaded by a man with a synthesiser and a selection of cheesy sings from the ages. So full form pizza that we didn't have pancakes in the end.

Folded pizza with sauce = sounds like Turkish pizza.
