House - still a box fortress

luckykaaThe biggest issue with moving home, is finding space for all the stuff. Especially when you're a hoarder and you live with a hoarder. Just where do other people keep their rocket packs? What about the super soakers?
When buying a place, this is exacerbated by the requirement to decorate. At the moment the box room is being used to store junk, but it will remain out of use until such time as it's redecorated to make the mancave. Once that's done, I'll probably be able to get some additional storage furniture.
At the moment, the living room is still a box fortress. I think this weekend it will be rearranged a little to something usable as a living room. Then I can work out where to put the rest of the stuff. Including pictures. I am fairly sure we have substantially more pictures than we have walls. Still, the map of Westeros is on the wall, so the kitchen is at least decorated.
Once that's done I can sort out all the smaller annoyances. Like fixing the curtain rail in the main bedroom; and sorting out the doors in the kitchen cabinets so they open in a sensible way, and turning the hall light switch upside down. And I really want to get someone in to board the loft (Yay! Storage space!!). And then there's all the general maintenance and fixes that came up on the survey!
I get the feeling this will never end.
I hope I don't have to move again for several years.
