Saw Revenge of the Sith. No spoilers unless you're not expecting lightsabers and space battles.

Okay... Here's the deal. Swordfights are cool! A movie can not fail to be at least slightly cool if it has a sword fight. I challenge anyone to find an exception.

Anyway, I quite liked it. George Lucas still can't write dialogue, but he never could. It does lack a certain something. I think it's the whole classic fairy tale type adventure that made A New Hope so great. Shame C3PO and R2D2 weren't in it a bit more. They have a purpose in the plot. They're needed to explain what's going on. George Lucas seems to have forgotten this.

I saw it with ex-flatmate and his wife. Had a nice time bitching in general about my flatmates and their mess. Ex-flatmate has expensive taste in cinemas, but the centre of the circle at the Odeon, Leicester Square have to be the best cineam seats in the country. Perfect view of the screen, just the right position for the sound, and the actual seats are nice as well. Full length backs and a headrest.

Saw a kid dressed as Princess Leia in the queue. Awww.

Doctor Who was great too. Rose's ambivilence about seeing aliens and future technology in 1941 London made laugh. The kid was downright creepy. Very cool.
