Hmm... That's inconvenient.

Weekend of 24th June: Beer and Blake's 7 trip to Wookey Hole.
Saturday 25th June: My flatmate's birthday party.
Both seem to be happening on the same weekend.
Since I'd rather do anything than go to another tedious party with a load of boring loud-mouthed trendies (nice enough people. Just boring, loud-mouthed, and trendy), I quite the idea of not going to the party, but I could really do with a better justification. I don't know if going on a trip with a load of sci-fi geeks is good enough in and of itself.
But I digress. The point of this is an OI! You lot in Brissle! post.
1. Feel free to join us, you lot. Requirements are that you speak Sci-fi reasonably fluently. Since that's every single one of you, come along.
2. We're looking for a nice pub that does decent inexpensive beer (or even better, decent cider) and has large tables since we're expecting quite a few people. Any suggestions? The Berkely is the usual choice, being big, and Wetherspoonsish, but that might be a little packed on a Saturday. And it's a bit far away from where people are likely to be staying. Somewhere closer to Broadmead might be nice.
