I have a plan.

Leave work.

Come up with an innovative piece of software.

Set up a company selling the software.

Get bought by Microsoft.

Become a millionaire.

Spend the rest of my life doing good works and feeling smug about it. Millionaire philanthropist sounds like a good lifestyle.

I just need to work out the details. Innovative software... There has to be something.

Though I'd be inclined to hang onto the job until you've worked out what you're going to write.

Also, if you want to sell to M$, you should possibly aim to write something that is too difficult for them to just copy...

Sounds like a good plan to me. I certainly plan to be rich enough to retire by 40.
