Wooo! Bargains galore!

A neighbouring company publishes a kitchenware trade magazine. They judged their awards recently. All the retailers have nominated their top products, and manufacturers were encouraged to send samples.

This left them with an office full of kitchenware.

Kitchenware that they decided to sell off cheap.

So, I am now the proud possessor of a set of stainless digital scales, a good quality knife, a rubber muffin tin, and a "thermal resistant" over glove. Not sure why anyone would want a thermal sucsceptable oven glove but this seems pretty good quality. Total cost - £11.50. Total retail value - £70ish. The scales alone would cost £29.99.

So, I'm quite happy with my purchases.

Alas, there was no blender. The one piece of kitchen equipment that I actually feel I need.

Plenty of knives. Both ingaborg and my parents wanted some of them. So do I but I have no idea what I actually need.
