Whenever anything goes wrong with my parent's computer, I'm the first person they call. Apparently, using the application about once every few weeks means I know more about Word than my mum - a secretary who uses the application every day.
This wouldn't be a huge problem. I can actually often solve these issues. I just wish they'd realise that I'm guessing what's on the screen at any given time. I can load a different version of the application that they're using, and guess what they have to do, but practically speaking I know less than they do.
That said, I did manage to fix their problem. Was this a mistake? They'll only ask next time a trivial thing goes wrong. Sigh.
