So, last call; who's coming to my place next weekend for Eurovision Finn Flavour Fun and Frolics ?

Who needs floor space for sleeping? I probably have sufficient if I move furniture around a little but you'll have to bring your own sleeping bags, or bedding or whatever you need

Might get Singstar out as well if we're still in a musical mood afterwards.

So I'm pretty certain we have:

[personal profile] tictactoepony
[profile] tinkerbell1980
[profile] lemming_man
[profile] squirrel_dreams

Which is a decent gathering but a couple more would be nice.  [personal profile] shebit does this interest you at all?

Fun & Frolics!

Sorry, I'm already spoken for. A friend invited me to her Eurovision party about two months ago, so I'll be up in London enjoying the cheese - and possibly actual cheese, because last your she provided a table of cheeses representing most of the nations involved.

Thanks for the invite, though.

We're still coming, can I bag the futon, or will there be more room for others if it stays in sofa-mode to give more floorspace for sleeping-bags?

We now need a separate say-hello-to-shebit event :P

I think it may need to stay in sofa mode. we'll see. Might be able to fit everyone in.

Yes! We likes meeting new people.

Has been suggested the Woking-ites have a party sometime, will advertise on LJ.

We also have regular boardgaming sessions, though I appreciate it's not entirely local for those who live Brighton-wards..

May do a pub thing (and possible throw in an ice breaker card game) some time now that I have a few victims.

Oh, you lot are Woking-folk? That's my old stomping grounds. I've only been down here for four years and used to call Surrey home.

How strange! Woking, of all places :P
(We're about 10 mins walk from the station, just between the Wheatsheaf pub (noisy lot!!) and the Brewery Road bit.

I'm from Esher but went to Brooklands College and used to jump on a train to Woking once a week when I had a long free section in the middle of the day. Ever Thursday's schedule was: Lecture, Woking for window shopping and Mcdonalds, Lecture, Home.

I've not been back for years. Is the purple aeroplane still outside Planets?

It was *purple*?
That's not fair...

pretty much plain metally silver these days.
Presume you've seen the large Martian just round the corner from it?

Right - at this rate I shall have to organise some sort of Woking event sometime (maybe a weekend) that allows time to pootle round shops and look at aliens and planes on sticks outside places of amusement :)

It was decidedly purple back in my day.

Ooh, the Tripod - I'd forgotten that was in Woking. That wasn't there back when I was at college but I remember admiring it on a trip there more recently with my family.

No problem.

Tempted to steal that cheese idea. The only problem is that will leave me with a lot of cheese.
