Really ought to do a Singstar Karaoke party sometime.

So, Thursday was the Singstar challenge at the Gaspodes'.  Knock every single pre-existing score off the high score table.

We didn't quite manage but a few of the songs will never see the likes of Sergio and co ever again.  Just wish I could have been more help.

Turns out Pass the Dutchie is a pretty tough song.

Other news - my new gloves are now fully complete.  These are for the Discworld Con next year.

Wow!  Rock Ballads might become my favourite Singstar game!

Almost all the tracks are classics.  Or maybe it's all really corny and cheesy.  But I have abysmal music taste so what do I know:P

Ah yes. 24 countries. And one or two of the songs were pretty good.

So, last call; who's coming to my place next weekend for Eurovision Finn Flavour Fun and Frolics ?

Who needs floor space for sleeping? I probably have sufficient if I move furniture around a little but you'll have to bring your own sleeping bags, or bedding or whatever you need

Might get Singstar out as well if we're still in a musical mood afterwards.

So I'm pretty certain we have:

Which is a decent gathering but a couple more would be nice.  [personal profile] shebit does this interest you at all?

Entertaining friends is fun but I'm knackered.

Party kinda worked. There weren't that many of us due to my choosing the wrong week, but since I already had plans for last week, next week (twice) the week after that and then we get a bit close to Christmas, I figured there wasn't a lot of choice. But [livejournal.com profile] tictactoepony and her other half and my friend Isegrim and Desideratist and [livejournal.com profile] tinkerbell1980 all came and we played singstar and buzz and ate food. And my dressing wasn't quite right. Not quite sure why but I'll sort that out I'm sure. I astounded everyone by just how low a score I can get on that game. Do I care? No! Well, okay it would be nice to be able to sing, but I can't and that's everybody else's problem:P I'll try and fix this oneday.

So anyway. People demonstrated their superior Buzz skillz, but I think there's an advantage to having played it before.

And people demonstrated their superior singing skillz. Singstar popworld is pointless and rubbish. Party has a decent selection on though.

So, eventually time was over. A few people stayed over. This was a minor problem due to my shortage of spare beds but I think we managed.

Today we watched DVDs, ate bacon sandwiches, bemused Tink with Look Around You, and then went to the Pier. It was windy. We went on a ride. Well, Tink and I did. Tictactoe and her bf were too apathetic or something. I feel very bounced.

I've been reliably informed that I need to hold another singstar party at my place.

Who's coming?

Probably this Saturday unless I can't make it...
