I saw this poster

Somehow I felt a little disturbed.

I find the whole thing implausible for starters.  Are we really meant to believe that the terrorist was so concerned with surveillance that he let himself be spotted?

Are we supposed to be suspicious of absolutely everyone?  That's really not a country I want to live in!

I'm always studying surveillance cameras.

I don't know why... I guess next time I should wear a mask, or one of those hooded-tops.

Plenty of people do believe this, which is frightening when you consider all the real things ruining this place that they could turn their attentions to. Also Mummy jiggling baby on her lap does not automatically represent innocence to me, so I resent that patronising aspect of the poster too. I also resent the fact that my iPod just saw fit to correct the 's' in patronising to a 'z' without my consent.
Ignore me I'm just having a bad day!.

Blackmailing people into terrorist witch hunts. nice.

I feel like making a poster in response:

A terrorist witch hunt won't go off here
because weeks before
a shopper saw this poster
and thought "Fuck That"

Do rely on others.

Long rant

There's one of these in Exeter by the swimming pool it's so hitler youth/1984. I don't feel like I fit in to this society where people are controlled through fear and poor education. Also is it just me or are the majority of people aged 13-25 really rude and aggressive? I was walking along the street today and for no reason someone shouted abuse at me, I felt really intimidated. It's become the standard because there's no consequences for bad actions. I didn't repremand this guy (neither did any of the passers by) because he was in a group and I was afraid of violence. People are becoming used to not thinking for themselves and accepting what they're told. To make things worse stupidity is considered fashionable and intelligence frowned upon.

End of moan.

Fearmongering rubbish aiming to justify the utterly, utterly lame anti-terrorism laws.

It's just going to incite bigoted violence and increased community fragmentation.

That is beyond stupid.

And yeah, the suspicion thing, isn't that what got that poor guy shot a bunch of times on the tube? or wait, maybe that was just rampant police incompetence. I'm afraid, but not of the terrorists.

Ohhh, I may have to borrow that phrase, if you don't mind.
"I'm afraid, but not of the terrorists."
