**Just what do I need in Israel in February anyway?

Date: 2011-02-03 08:53 am (UTC)Take 1 pair stout sandals and 1 pair trainers [plus maybe 1 pair smart shoes for evenings out]. Take a jumper/wrap/jacket for evenings [it's basically desert-ish, temperature drops at night]. Don't bother with socks, unless worn with the trainers. All that stuff in the Bible about foot-washing will make sense after a day or two :-)
Don't forget a headscarf/hat ono for holy sites of various kinds.
